Jennifer Douville, collaborative pianist, has been collaborating with various artists in the Boston area since 2008. Over the past few months, her interest in diverse repertoire gave her the opportunity to present recitals of both classical and cabaret music. In 2008 and 2009, Ms. Douville performed "Cabaret" programs in Boston's North End, for the 'Emery Bag', Brookline's oldest women's club, and for Ars Amani, a newly formed group of artists committed to sharing their art with the community. She also presented chamber music recitals with fellow faculty members of the Brookline Music School and the Newton Music Academy. Ms. Douville accompanies various student recitals at the North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) and the Brookline Music School, and serves as an accompanist for various auditions and recordings. In March 2007, Ms. Douville's performance of the Violin and Piano Sonata Op. 40, No. 2 by Darius Milhaud won her the First Prize of the Darius Milhaud Performance Prize Competition held at the Cleveland Institute of Music. In 2007, she was hired as an accompanist for the National Federation of Music Clubs competition in Salt Lake City. Upcoming performances will also feature Ms. Douville in the Church of St. John of the Evangelist's musical series and the Brookline Music School's faculty recitals.
