JP Concerts presents Part III of A Far Cry's series, entitled "The Poet" -- a program that is inextricably linked to the Second World War, and which poses the very real question of what it means to create art in a time when everything is changing. Tickets are $10 at the door.
In the final concert of a three-concert series, A Far Cry welcomes vocalist Dominique Eade of the NEC faculty as soloist in a selection of jazz standards from the 1940s. In this program, A Far Cry will also present the world premiere of a commissioned work by Howard Frazin, as well as Honegger's Symphony No. 2 for String Orchestra and Trumpet and Strauss's Metamorphosen.
